Things That Made Us Say WOW This Month

Although May passed us by swiftly, there were still a few creative things that made us say WOW. In this monthly article, we will be sharing some of the things that have inspired us throughout May.

Whether it’s an exciting new website, a smart solution to a brand problem, or simply a wonderful piece of design that we love and want to share with everyone. Get ready to be inspired!

Type Hunting

We loved scrolling through this ongoing archive of typography, photographed & curated by Jonathan Lawrence. It feels like a time capsule of type where the vintage designs are busted and rusted. The intention is to treasure all of these findings before they’re trashed and gone forever so that we can learn from them and, in some way, hopefully, reuse them. It’s nostalgic, inspiring, and beautiful!

Nike After Dark Tour

A strong message and the simplicity of just black and red design with bold typography is what caught our eyes. We saw this campaign as a tunnel wrap while walking through King’s Cross station – it was super impactful. Nike After Dark Tour is a series of six iconic night-running experiences in cities around the globe. Created in celebration of women who run, and the communities that support them. It’s not only a bold invitation, it’s also championing the future of women’s running.

Google Veo 3

Controversial. Inspiring. Terrifying. Impressive. These and many other words have been used recently, after Google announced the latest version of their AI video generator, which allows users to create high-quality, 8-second videos. It is causing a lot of questions and discussions, but it is incredible how much AI has improved in such a short time. The question isn’t whether this will change everything – it’s whether we’ll be ready when it does.

Prompt: A cat “singing” opera with full orchestra, looking surprisingly profound.

TacoBell X The Or

Pre-loved fashion sellers have been incredibly creative with the way they pack their items for the expecting buyers. In response, Taco Bell has launched a unique campaign with The Or. For a day only, customers at the brand’s Baker Street branch can visit an in-store DIY postage packaging station. This convenient service eliminates the need for last-minute purchases of mailing bags or random cardboard boxes, providing a hassle-free solution for customers.
