Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) is one of the world’s top five leading consumer products companies. With a portfolio of over 200 beer brands, including Budweiser, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, and Beck’s, its brands hold No.1 or No.2 market positions in 19 countries.
The Brief:
We were commissioned by eureka! (UK), AB InBev’s innovation and concept development partners, to design and build an extranet that would allow new product ideas to be shared and expanded within a secure framework.
The Solution:
The extranet needed to be simple to use and on brand. Because it would include important communications, we developed a fully bespoke system that allowed us to integrate the necessary features.
The system encourages an interactive community of concept writers from around the world. A secure login ensures that only approved writers can participate and all information remains confidential.
The writing area includes a user-friendly step-by-step process to ensure that ideas are fleshed out and adhere to defined parameters.
A system for filtering by brand, platform, and location allows users to search for concepts quickly and easily.
An administration area provides moderators with full management of users, concepts, and reporting.
The AB In-Bev extranet has been a successful project that has improved the company’s product development and branding strategy since 2008.
