Elkay goes e-commerce

Our working relationship with Cable Management Products goes back around 10 years. This week we launched the latest update to their Elkay web site, allowing customers to purchase directly online.

We worked closely with their marketing department to ensure this objective was achieved on a limited budget (who said e-commerce had to break the bank?!). Elkay staff retain complete control over their online product catalogue via the existing Content Managment System (CMS) but now have the option of adding pricing along with % discount options.

Sir Timothy John Berners-Lee, is the computer scientist and MIT professor credited with inventing the World Wide Web. Not satisfied with a bit of web 2.0 social interaction, Sir Tim’s vision for next generation of web sites and services involves developing applications that are capable of computing semantic searches, so called web 3.0.

New site launched for Infertility Guidance Service

This week saw the launch of our new website design for world renowned fertility expert, Dr. Roger Neuberg. The site collects many of the Doctor’s printed material online for the first time within the extensive ‘treatments and Investigations’ section.

Internet to be ‘rested’

News that the internet is to be suspended for a period of 7 days next month has been greeted angrily by UK businesses. Government officials made the announcement this morning having worked closely in secret with technologists and ISPs over the past 6 months. “This inactivity will allow the major internet backbones (routers) to have ‘a breather’, given they have been in constant use ever since the internet’s inception” explained a government spokesman.
